WASHINGTON MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Close Up’s Middle School Programs are designed to give students hands-on opportunities to interact with government and history in Washington, DC. Close Up is more than just a tour. It is a fast-paced, fun-filled, and educational experience in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Our staff uses Washington’s key institutions and historic sites as interactive classrooms to help students explore the links between history and the rights and responsibilities of citizens today. We also offer exciting add-on options that include additional days in Washington and opportunities to visit Williamsburg, Philadelphia, Gettysburg or New York City!
In addition to our variety of Washington Middle School Programs, we customize programs for groups from around the country that are tailor-made to meet the specific needs of their group. Since 1971, over 850,000 students and educators have graduated from our experiential programs. And each year, we welcome students from every state and every U.S. territory on our one-of-a-kind programs in Washington, DC. We hope you will join us this year to experience all that the nation’s capital has to offer!
